"Would you like to try some dandee noodles?"
"try some of my dinner!"
DO NOT expect to hear these words from your friends/room mates when you are studying abroad,
cuz its not not in their culture at all.
We, Indians are brought up in a different manner.Learning to share & care was a part of my convent school academic training.I would be spanked hard by my sister (read nun) at school, if I dared, NOT to share my tiffin.SO much so that, we used to eat up all of Ishita's tiffin in college at times and her mom would get all our good wishes :D
Its irritating to hear a NO, everytime you offer your food/dinner to your friends,
like an insult or a rude remark, that you do not like my food!
But, like I said, the virtue of kindness must never be lost,
cuz deep down in my soul,
I am still a True Indian!
